Axar Patel beat Virat Kohli by hitting Fifty in 20 balls. Kohli had scored fifty off 21 balls against the West Indies. He drove ahead of Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan and beat Pachasa by just 20 balls. Shikhar Dhawan scored fifty off 22 balls.
This record is in the name of Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh.
Yuvraj Singh holds the half-century record for the fewest balls among Indian batsmen. He had scored fifty out of 12 against England. In this match, Yuvi jumped 6 straight sixes in one. Besides Yuvi, KL Rahul finished 18, Suryakumar Yadav finished 18 and Gautam Gambhir finished half a century in 19 balls. Yuvi also holds two records for making half-centuries on 20 balls. He scored fifty out of 20 against Australia and Sri Lanka.
